HILLARD who was born 07 February 1860(5) in Menominee, Jo Daviess, Illinois and died 05 March 1940(5) at East Dubuque (Death Certificate #000060).
He was a tinner; he apprenticed under his uncle Valentine Hellstern. Later, he was employed at the Farley & Loetcher Manufacturing Company at Dubuque. They lived on Desoto Avenue in East Dubuque.
