Katherine Frances3 Erner (Gerhard2), born 06 December 1866 (from obituary) at Quincy, Adams, Illinois; died 21 March 1944(5) at Quincy (also Death Certificate #009339); married 10 May 1892 at Quincy (License #7843) to Gerhard Henry Winking who was born 28 September 1862(5) at Quincy and died 21 June 1923(5) at Quincy.
He was a cabinetmaker. He worked at the Excelsior Show Case Company, later the Knittel Show Case Company. They lived at 621 Oak Street in Quincy.
They were members of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Quincy. Later in life, as a widow, she became a member of St. Francis Church where most of her husband's relatives were already members.

Gertrude Mary4 Winking, born 31 March 1898(6); died 23 December 1975 at Quincy(6); married first 1923-24 at Quincy to Stanley Amburn McDaniel (son of Lawrence McDaniel and Elizabeth Amburn) who was born about 1888 in Kentucky, possibly later divorced; married second 07 June 1938 at Palmyra, Marion, Missouri to Jules P. Schnellbacher who was born 04 November 1904 at Quincy and died 21 January 1960 at Quincy. She was a stenographer.

[Jules had two daughters from a previous marriage: Alice and Norma Schnellbacher.]

Joan Elizabeth McDaniel, born 08 December 1929; married to Harold Bartz. They lived at San Antonio and at Austin, Texas.
Margaret Dorothy McDaniel, born 04 August 1932; died 29 October 1967 at Quincy; married 12 May 1950 at Quincy to Donald R. Rowsey.

Joseph Henry Schnellbacher. He served in the U.S. Air Force. They moved to Portland, Multnomah, Oregon.
Daniel A. Schnellbacher. He served in the U.S. Army. They moved to Garland, Texas.
Helen E.4 Winking, born 04 March 1902(6); died 10 March 1979 at Bedford, Lawrence, Indiana(6); married 01 February 1934 at Detroit, Wayne, Michigan to Sigmund F. Zelinsky (his second marriage) who was born 09 December 1905(6) in Michigan and died 09 August 1991 at Bedford(6). She was living at Highland, Madison, Illinois in 1923. They were living at Detroit in 1944; at Bedford in 1975.
