Frank Weidlich, born 09 April 1840 in Saxony, Germany;  died 07 June 1924 at Dubuque, Dubuque, Iowa;  married early 1860s in Saxony to Amelia Hofmann who was born about November 1841 at Trauen, Saxony, Germany and died 17 December 1919 at Dubuque.

They came to the U.S. in 1865. He was a cabinetmaker; he worked at the Key City Furniture Company in Dubuque. They lived at 1289 Pine Street in Dubuque. He was naturalized as a U.S. citizen in 1875.

Charles Frederick Weidlich, born about 1864 in Saxony;  died 27 July 1947 at Dubuque;  married to Delia _______ who was born about 1868 in Germany. He owned a saloon at 1766 Clay Street in Dubuque. They lived at 444 Seminary in Dubuque. Known child:  Mildred Weidlich, born about 1898 at Dubuque.

+    Henry William Weidlich, born about November 1866 in Wisconsin;  married Catherine Mary Erner.

Anthony P. Weidlich, born about January 1870;  died 30 September 1946 at Dubuque;  married 18 May 1898 at Dubuque to Mary Gruber (daughter of Andreas Gruber and Barbara Alt) who was born about May 1876 at “Seeborn”, Bavaria, Germany. He was a lineman for “Dubuque L. and T.”;  they lived at 1781 Clay Street in Dubuque. In 1920, they were living at 322 13th Avenue West in Cedar Rapids, Linn, Iowa. Known children, born at Dubuque:  Martha Weidlich, born November 1898;  Myrtle Weidlich, born 1900;  Emily Weidlich, born about 1902.

Bertha Weidlich, born about February 1876;  married 23 June 1903 at Dubuque to John F. Goodrich (son of Noah Goodrich and Helen Ward) who was born about 1875 at Maquoketa, Jackson, Iowa and apparently died before the 1910 census. She was a dressmaker; later she managed an apartment building. Children, born at Dubuque:  Forrest J. Goodrich, born about 1904, married to Vera ______ who was born about 1905 in Indiana, he was a musician;  Allen F. Goodrich, born about 1906, he was a clerk for a railroad.

Julius Morris Weidlich, born 18 January 1879(8);  died 17 January 1935 at Dubuque;  married 18 May 1904 at Dubuque to Emma M. Firzloff (daughter of Edward Firzloff) who was born 01 November 1880(6) in Germany and died 15 January 1968 at Dubuque(6). He was a bookkeeper at the Rhomberg Brothers brewery. They lived at 432 Queen Street in Dubuque. Known children, born at Dubuque:  Elmer Weidlich, born 13 April 1905(6), died January 1970 at Dubuque(6);  Dorothea Weidlich, born about 1908;  Arnold Weidlich, born 14 September 1909(6), died September 1970(6).
