Christoph Freiburg (son of JOSEPH ANTON FREIBURG), born 18 October 1796(1) at Allendorf, Kreis Arnsberg, Westphalia, Germany; died 22 October 1862(1) at Allendorf; married 27 April 1834(1) at Allendorf to Gertrud Koenig who was born 18 November 1814 and died June 1888 at Allendorf.
He was a farmer and a citizen of Allendorf. He served in the war with Napoleon.

Henry Joseph Freiburg, born 02 August and baptized 03 August 1837(1); died 09 April 1908 at Quincy, Adams, Illinois, USA; married 31 January 1871 at Quincy to Elizabeth Buening who was born 12 April 1848 at Quincy and died 19 April 1936 at Quincy. He came to the U.S. on the ship New York which sailed from Bremen and arrived in New York City on 31 July 1865. He worked as a teamster. Later, he owned a grocery store at 11th and Vine Streets in Quincy; they lived at 1202 North 11th Street. He was Naturalized as a U.S. citizen on 04 November 1878. He was a member of the Quincy Board of Supervisors for 25 years. He was serving as chairman of its Buildings and Grounds Committee and had just been reelected to the board when he died suddenly.
