Johannes Joseph Hellhake, born 14 May 1796 at Allendorf, Kreis Arnsberg, Westphalia, Germany; died 07 February 1868 aged “72” years₍₅₎ at Fredericktown, Madison, Missouri, USA; married 17 May 1827 at Allendorf₍₁₎ to Maria Theresa Specht who was born 30 November 1804 in Germany and died 18 September 1871 at Fredericktown.

They came to the U.S. on the ship Uhland which sailed from Bremen and arrived at New Orleans on 18 June 1852. He worked as a lead miner.
