Philip Hellhake, born about 1828-29 in Prussia, Germany. He was a shoemaker. He came to the U.S. from Allendorf, Kreis Arnsberg, Westphalia, Germany with the Johannes Joseph Hellhake family, on the ship Uhland which sailed from Bremen and arrived at New Orleans on 18 June 1852.

Joseph Hellhake, born about 1838 in Prussia, Germany. He came to the U.S. on the ship Union which sailed from Bremen, Germany via Southampton, England and arrived at New York City on 06 May 1867. 1870 Census: Joseph Hellhake (with Henry Hellhake), page 422, visit 664/710, Quincy (1st Ward), Adams, Illinois.

Gertrude Hellhake, born about October 1851 in Germany. She was Superior of the Angel Guardian German Orphans Asylum at Chicago, Cook, Illinois in 1900. She came to the U.S. in 1897 (from 1900 census). 1900 Census: Gertrude Hellhake, page 316, visit 001/001, Chicago (E.D. 1211), Cook, Illinois.

(Sister) Mary Bertina Hellhake, born 1851(5);  died 1920(5). She was a Catholic nun. She is buried at Calvary Cemetery at Ft. Wayne, Allen, Indiana.

(Sister) Verena Hellhake, born 23 November 1886;  died 21 July 1936 at Fargo, Cass, North Dakota. She was a Catholic nun.

Fritz Hellhake, born 07 August 1906(6) in Germany;  died August 1953(6) probably in Colorado;  married 01 November 1930 at Denver, Denver, Colorado to Mabel A. ______ who was born 14 November 1906(6) in Missouri and died 04 September 1996 at Aurora, Arapahoe, Colorado(6). He came to the U.S. in 1927. 1930 Census: Fritz F. Hellhake, page 248, visit 082/337, Denver (E.D. 132), Denver, Colorado. They had three daughters.
