Frank Anton Heine (son of JOHANN HEINRICH HEINE), born 26 October 1800 at Allendorf, Kreis Arnsberg, Westphalia; died 03 March 1848 at Quincy, Adams, Illinois, USA; married first 27 August 1822 at Allendorf(1) to Anna Maria Muer who died about April 1823; married second 24 October 1823 at Allendorf(1) to Anna Catharina Asshauer who died about 1825; married third 19 May 1825 at Allendorf(1) to Anna Catherine Kleier (or Kleuer) who was born 16 December 1799 at Allendorf and died 28 July 1888 at Quincy (obituary from Quincy Daily Whig, issue of 29 July 1888).
They came to the U.S. on the ship Alexander von Humboldt which sailed from Bremen and arrived at New Orleans on 16 December 1845. He worked as a blacksmith in the Arsenal at St. Louis. They came to Quincy by boat in 1847 and were robbed of all of their money, $600, during the trip.

Heinrich Anton Heine, born 22 February and baptized 23 February 1833(1); died 01 November 1904 aged 71 years, 08 months, 10 days at Quincy (records of St. John’s Church at Quincy); married 06 May 1856 at Quincy to Anna Helena Surmeyer (daughter of John H. Surmeier and Thecla Claus) who was born 21 June 1837 and died 01 March 1907 at Quincy. In 1853, he went by sea to California to join the gold rush and stayed for a year and a half before returning to Quincy. He learned to be a cigarmaker and eventually became a partner with his brother-in-law Casper Hellhake in the firm of Hellhake & Heine. Later, he was in the grocery business. He was a charter member of the Western Catholic Union, when it was formed in 1877. They lived at 729 Maine Street in Quincy; later at 824 Spruce Street. He was president of the German Insurance and Savings Association for ten years. He served two terms on the City Council and seven terms on the Board of Supervisors of Quincy.
