Anna Caroline Heine, born 23 April 1856;  died 06 June 1925 at Quincy, Adams, Illinois (Death Certificate #2010268);  married first 05 October 1872 at Bochum to Anton Pickhard;  married second 01 October 1885 at Quincy (License #4040) to John Christian Helmedag who was born about August 1852 in Germany and died 02 January 1914 at Quincy. Caroline came to the U.S. in 1885; Christian came to the U.S. in 1884 (both from the 1900 census). 1900 Census: Christian Helmedag, page 214, visit 332/334, Melrose, Adams, Illinois. 1910 Census: Christian Helmedag, page 143, visit 109/113, Quincy (4th Ward), Adams, Illinois. 1920 Census: Caroline “Halmadra”, page 211, visit 197/220, Quincy (4th Ward), Adams, Illinois. Budde, both born in Germany) who was born 27 November 1886 at Quincy(8) and died 08 October 1943 in an automobile accident in Sangamon County, Illinois (Death Certificate #0000187). Heubner (his second marriage)(son of Frank Heubner) who was born 22 September 1892 in Honey Creek, Adams, Illinois(8). 1930 Census: Frank H. Heubner, page 230, visit 134/151, Quincy (E.D. 47), Adams, Illinois. [He had at least two children from his first marriage: Gloria M. Heubner born about 1911 and Herman L. Heubner born about 1915.] Known child:  Willis A. Heubner, born about 1920.

Catherine Johanna Helmedag, born about May 1896;  died 27 August 1950 at Quincy (Death Certificate #0031478);  married 1920-21 to Frank J. Bruening (son of Herman Bruening, born in Germany) who was born 28 October 1893 at Quincy(8). He was a truck driver. 1930 Census: Frank J. Ferdinand Herman Heine, born 30 June 1889;  died 25 August 1979 at Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin;  married 28 May 1913 at Quincy to Frances M. Lammers (daughter of Bernard H. and Catherine M. Lammers) who was 25 September 1889 and died 12 August 1982 at Milwaukee. He was a Vice-President of the Koehring Company. They had two children.

Mary Christine Heine, born 27 August 1893;  died 28 November 1895 (records of St. Francis’ Church at Quincy).

Clara Ann Heine, born 30 May 1896;  died 16 March 1947 at Quincy;  married 02 June 1920 at Quincy to Carl Henry Harman (son of Henry Harman and Barbara Scholz) who was born 19 January 1893 at Quincy and died 13 July 1983 at Quincy. They had five children.

Josephine Elizabeth Heine, born 03 November 1898(7);  died 01 September 1976 at Inglewood, Los Angeles, California(7);  married 07 September 1926 at Quincy to Walter John Marold who was born 24 October 1899(7) in Adams County and died 29 October 1945 in Los Angeles County(7). They had one child.

Gertrude A. Heine, born 07 October 1901(6);  died 05 January 1994 at Chico, Butte, California(6);  married 15 April 1944 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California to Glenn Irving Mason who was born 12 April 1896(6) at Lima, Ohio and died 13 June 1981 at Chico(6).

Bernard Anthony Heine, born 13 May 1905(6);  died 02 August 1999 at Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin(6);  married 01 May 1928 at Quincy to Beulah Juanita Joiner (daughter of Aldon L. Joiner and Edna Blanche Booher) who was born 17 November 1908(6) in Lima, Adams, Illinois and died 06 August 1998 at Milwaukee(6). He was a millwright. They had three children.

Frances C. Heine [aka (Sister) Optata], born 31 March 1908;  died 18 March 1999 at St. Louis, Missouri. She was a nun in the School Sisters of Notre Dame.

Joseph Gerhard Heine, born 17 November 1910;  died 25 July 1911 at Quincy.

Joseph Heinrich Heine, born 21 June 1862;  died 22 March 1902 aged 39 years at Quincy, Adams, Illinois (records of St. Francis’ Church at Quincy);  married 29 May 1889 at Quincy (License #6081) to Theresa Schuetler who was born about 1863-64 and died 21 June 1899 aged 35 years (records of St. Francis’ Church at Quincy).
