Christoph Anton Wiegenstein (son of Christoph Wiegenstein and Catherina Assmann), born 23 January 1825 at Grevenstein, Kreis Meschede, Westphalia, Germany; died 24 April 1907 in Polk, Madison, Missouri, USA; married 14 September 1856 at St. Louis, St. Louis, Missouri (Book 8, page 154) to JULIANA CANISIUS who was born 17 December and baptized 18 December 1834(1) at Allendorf, Kreis Arnsberg, Westphalia, Germany and died 22 July 1893 in Polk Township.
He came to the U.S. on the ship Johanna which sailed from Bremen, Germany and arrived at New York City on 15 July 1852. He was a farmer. He served as Judge of the First District of Madison County Court.
