Jacob F.⁵ Orner (Jacob⁴, Jacob³, felix², Ulrich¹), born about 1806 in Maryland; died June 1849 apparently in Forks, Northampton, Pennsylvania; married 21 February 1833 in Sussex County, New Jersey (Reference, below) to Margaret Ann Stickles (daughter of ANDREW STICKLES and Elizabeth ______) who was born about 1808 in New Jersey and died 1871 in Sussex County. He was a miller.

His estate (Northampton, Pennsylvania Will File #5703), widow Margaret releases Right of Administration to William Warner, 04 July 1849; other documents mention widow Margaret Ann, [unnamed] children, and George B. Arner [presumably his brother]. However, a Request for Partition (Northampton Orphans Court Docket 16, page 072) filed 01 August 1849 for his father’s estate mentions, among other heirs, the children of Jacob F. Arner since deceased: John, George, Theodore, Jacob, Guyer, Catharine, Salina, and Elizabeth. Arthur Jerome⁷ Orner, born 14 March 1888 at Port Jervis₍₅₀₎; died 1954 at Harare, Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), Africa; married about 1912 at Mt. Selinda, Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), Africa to Dorothy Edna Hack (daughter of Matthew Hack and Jessie Gimingham) who was born about December 1890 in Ugi, Transkei, South Africa and died 1985 at Harare. [Info from descendant Robert Greener, formerly of Botswana, Africa (current e-mail not known); his GEDCOM.] [They arrived at Table Bay, South Africa on the ship Llanstephan Castle which arrived from England on 11 September 1914.
