Susanna4 Arner (Jacob3, felix2, Ulrich1), born 18 February 1790 in Allen, Northampton, Pennsylvania and christened 28 March 1790 (Sponsors: Johannes and Susanna Baer)(2)(37);  died 30 November 1831 in North Whitehall, Lehigh, Pennsylvania;  married first 06 May 1810(23) to John Strauss who apparently died 1815-18;  married second about 1819 to Michael Biege (his second of three marriages)(son of Johann Jacob Beige and Anna Maria ______) who was born 03 May 1795(14) and christened 14 June 1795 (Sponsors: Michael Schwartz and Maria)[recorded at Dryland Lutheran Church, Bethlehem (now Lower Nazareth) Township, Northampton, Pennsylvania], and died 22 October 1853(14) in North Whitehall.

[Michael was married first to Sarah Lentz, and had at least two children: Catherine Biege, born about 1814 and married Aaron Schreiber; and Sara Biege, born 1816 and married John Hinkel. He was married third about 1834 to (______) Bader (a widow) who died September 1849, and had at least one more child. 1840 Census: Michael Biege, page 290, North Whitehall, Lehigh, Pennsylvania. 1850 Census: Michal Beache (apparently a widower, with his son-in-law John Hinkel), page 272, visit 173/175, North Whitehall, Lehigh, Pennsylvania.]

Susanna and Michael are buried separately at Egypt Church in North Whitehall. Michael’s gravestone says that he was married 12 years to his second wife(14).

Jackson5 Biege, born 26 June and christened 01 August 1824 (Sponsors: Michael Ritter and wife Margreth)(2);  died 29 June 1884 in Lehigh County;  married first 01 June 1845 to Maria Anna Leh (daughter of Samuel Henry Leh and Magdalena Roth) who was born 22 February and christened 01 April 1821 (Sponsors: Henrich Leh, Sen. and wife Susanna)(2), and died 13 June 1846;  married second 08 June 1847 to Carolina Hauser (daughter of Michael Hauser and Elisabeth George) who was born 27 October 1826 in South Whitehall, Lehigh, Pennsylvania and died 22 March 1866 in Lehigh County;  married third 08 December 1866 to Elizabeth Kleckner who was born 25 September 1834 in Pennsylvania and died 23 March 1914. He was a tenant farmer; later a laborer; later a hotel keeper.

Wentz (daughter of Joel Wentz and Rebecca Snyder) who was born 07 August 1881(17) in Pennsylvania and died May 1969 at Allentown, Lehigh, Pennsylvania(17), and had at least two children: Luella M. Biege born about March 1899, and Paul Albert Biege born 09 June 1901(17)(36) and died 21 December 1988(17) in Los Angeles County, California(36)(but I have no evidence for that connection yet). NOTE: Emma is ‘married but alone, and child[ren]’ with her mother in both the 1900 and 1910 censuses.]

Myers, page 455, visit 075/087, Penobscot [village], Luzerne, Pennsylvania. 1900 Census: Jeremiah Myers, page 294, visit 102/102, Penobscot village, Luzerne, Pennsylvania.
