He was a farmer. They moved to Salt Creek, Pickaway, Ohio about 1816; to Sandusky County, Ohio about 1833.

Catharina4 Arner, born 13 July and christened 29 August 1798 (recorded at Trexlertown Union Church in Macungie, Lehigh, Pennsylvania);  died 29 October 1872 aged 74 years, 03 months(14) in Springfield, Allen, Indiana;  married 17 March 1818 in Pickaway County, Ohio (Book 2, page 042) to Jacob Boger (son of John George Boger and Mary E. Faust) who was born 15 February 1796(14) in Pennsylvania and died 21 May 1873 aged 77 months, 03 months, 06 days(14) in Springfield. He was a farmer. He is probably the Jacob Boger who bought government land in Seneca County, Ohio on 25 May 1835 from the Bucyrus, Ohio Land Office (Document #11579). 1850 Census: Jacob Boger, page 047, visit 117/119, Jackson, Sandusky, Ohio. 1870 Census: Jacob Bogar, page 639, visit 088/089, Springfield, Allen, Indiana. They are buried at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery (aka Springfield Center Cemetery) in Springfield. Known children, born in Ohio:

Mathias5 Boger, born 06 November 1829(14);  died 01 May 1907(14) in DeKalb County, Indiana;  married 1870-71 to Mary Ann [?Faust] (her second marriage) who was born about August 1839 in Ohio. 1870 Census: (single, with parents). 1880 Census: Mathias Boger, page 239, visit 077/077, Scipio, Allen, Indiana. 1900 Census: Mathias Boger, page 233, visit 185/185, Concord, DeKalb, Indiana. He is buried at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery. Known child:  Susanna Boger, born about 1873.

Salome4 Arner, born 23 June and christened 23 November 1809 in Nescopeck (Sponsors: Jacob Bittenpenter and wife Maria nee Harter)(20);  married 12 January 1831 in Pickaway County, Ohio (FHL film #288393) to Jacob Miller.

Elizabeth4 Arner, born August 1812 and christened [date not recorded] in Nescopeck(20).
