Joseph4 Orner (Georg3, probably Ulrich2, Ulrich1), born 22 January 1804(14) in Northampton (now Lehigh) County, Pennsylvania or possibly in Nescopeck, Luzerne, Pennsylvania;  died 09 August 1880(14) in Scipio, Seneca, Ohio;  married 1822 to Elizabeth Boyer who was born 09 August 1800(14) in Pennsylvania and died 24 September 1882(14) in Thompson, Seneca, Ohio (Bellevue Local News, issue of 30 September 1882).

He was a farmer. On 12 August 1833, he bought land in Adams, Seneca, Ohio from the Tiffin, Ohio Government Land Office (the patent).
