Thomas M.5 Auner (HENRY4, Heinrich3, HEINRICH2, Ulrich1), born 1844(14) in Turbot, Northumberland, Pennsylvania;  died 02 October 1888(14) at Panora, Guthrie, Iowa;  married 11 October 1866 in Flagg, Ogle, Illinois to Nancy Ellen Tilton (daughter of Richard Tilton and Mary E. Ogle) who was born 1845(14) in Illinois and died 28 October 1918(14) at Rochelle, Ogle, Illinois (Death Certificate #039765).

He was a farmer. Civil War service: Company E, 46th Illinois Infantry Regiment. He received an invalid pension, application filed 29 March 1880. Nancy received a widow's pension, application filed 15 January 1890 in Iowa.

Letha6 Auner, born 11 February 1869(14);  died 08 October 1953(14);  married 28 February 1892 in Ogle County (Book 1, license #8084) to George Emmett Moore (son of Mathias Stewart Moore and Sophia Tilton) who was born 24 September 1867(14) in Illinois and died 05 March 1953(14). He was a salesman for a jewelry store; later he was an assembler in a locomotive shop. 1910 Census: George E. Moore, page 096, visit 275/286, Rochelle (2nd Ward), Ogle, Illinois. 1920 Census: George E. Moore, page 085, visit 163/174, Rochelle (2nd Ward), Ogle, Illinois. Marion Leroy6 Auner, born 08 August 1871(48);  died 15 November 1945 at Dickinson, Stark, North Dakota(48);  married first 29 December 1892 in Guthrie County to Clara Olive Montgomery who was born 01 May 1871(14) and died 14 July 1897(14);  married second in North Dakota to Mary Ellen Walsh who was born 12 December 1879 in North Dakota(36) and died 11 April 1956 in Los Angeles County, California(36). Cleon Marcelle7 Auner, born 26 April 1895(14)(36)(40);  died 19 July 1945(14) at Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California(36);  married first about 1918 to Elizabeth ______ who was born about 1895 in South Dakota and died 21 July 1925 at Chicago, Cook, Illinois (Death Certificate #6020216);  married second about 1926 to Mabel Janet Culver (possibly her second marriage)(daughter of Edward Delos Culver and Elizabeth Emaline Walker) who was born 14 October 1906 at Gladstone, Stark, North Dakota, later divorced. He was a carpenter. He was a WWI veteran; he registered for the Draft at Dickinson. 1920 Census: Cleon Auner, page 071, visit 142/223, Chicago (E.D. 846), Cook, Illinois. 1930 Census: Cleon Auner, page 034, visit 115/145, Dickinson (3rd Ward), Stark, North Dakota. He is buried at Los Angeles National Cemetery. Children with first wife, born in Illinois:  (Son), died in infancy;  Robert Cleon Auner, born 02 June 1923(17), died March 1984(17) possibly in Wisconsin, he was a WWII veteran (U.S. Navy), he had seven children.

Rayner, and brother of Archibald, below) who was born about May 1867 in Guthrie County and died 03 October 1948 in Moody County, South Dakota (Death Certificate #243636). Scriven who was born 08 March 1896(17) at Sioux Rapids, Buena Vista, Iowa(40) and died 28 October 1964(17) at Portland (Death Certificate #64-14618). He was a Seventh Day Adventist minister. He registered for the WWI Draft at Egan, Moody, South Dakota [as a conscientious objector]. 1930 Census: Cord A. Scriven, page 024, visit 180/245, Lancaster town, Worcester, Massachusetts. No children with them in 1930.

Gladys G.7 Levea, born about 1896;  married 22 October 1913 at Colman, Moody, South Dakota (Marriage Certificate #38733) to Perry Alinson Means who was born 21 December 1889(17) in Michigan(40) and died February 1970 at Colman(17). He was a produce buyer(40); later he was a moulder at a Westinghouse Electric plant in Michigan. He registered for the WWI Draft at Sidney, Cheyenne, Nebraska. 1920 Census: Perry A. Means, page 275, visit 102/103, Wild Horse town, Cheyenne, Colorado. 1930 Census: Perry A. Means, page 017, visit 071/071, Niles, Berrien, Michigan. Known child:  Berthyl W. Means, born 19 August 1915(17)(45) in Colorado, died 06 February 1988(45) at Bradenton, Manatee, Florida(17).

Lloyd L.7 Levea, born 08 May 1898(17);  died 27 December 1965(17) in Clackamas County, Oregon (Death Certificate #65-16533);  married after the 1920 census to Grace ______. 1920 Census: LLoyd Levea (single, with uncle Archibald Levea, below).

Neil A.7 Levea, born about 1901;  married 23 August 1924 in Moody County (Marriage Certificate #100959) to Madge V. hamilton (daughter of Martin Hamilton and Mary Burrell) who was born 16 November 1904 in Harrison County, Missouri and died 30 March 1948 at Bremerton, Kitsap, Washington (Death Certificate #8336). (Flight Officer) Merlyn A.7 Auner, born 04 December 1924;  killed in action 14 October 1944 during WWII. He served as a Navigator in the 343rd Squadron, 98th Bombardment Group, 15th Air Force. His plane was shot down near Maribor, Yugoslavia with only two survivors. He is buried at Naperville Cemetery (Section 9, plot 13).
