Mary Elizabeth5 Aurner (JACOB4, Heinrich3, HEINRICH2, Ulrich1), born about 1827 in [possibly Lycoming County], Pennsylvania;  apparently died by about 1897 in Nebraska;  married about 1851 in Illinois to Isaac Hogaboom (son of Isaac and Orliva Hogaboom) who was born about March 1834 in Yonge, Leeds, Ontario, Canada.

He was a farmer. He served in Company C, 11th Michigan Infantry Regiment during the Civil War. He received an invalid pension (Certificate #389214), Application #345826 filed 16 February 1880.

Charles W.6 Hogaboom, born about 1852 in Illinois;  married 1871-72 to Juliette E. ______ who was born about August 1853 in Massachusetts. Marian O.7 Hogaboom, born about June 1874;  married 1893-94 to Frank Louis Valentine (son of Frank L. and Caroline Valentine) who was born 01 March 1873(40) in Iowa. He was an ironmaker?; later a laundryman. He registered for the WWI Draft at Sioux City, Woodbury, Iowa [nearest relative: “wife - Marian Valentine, Ogallala”]. 1900 Census: Frank L. Valentine Jr (married 6 years but alone, with his parents), page 047, line 85, Baker (3rd Ward), Baker, Oregon; also Marion O. “Hogaboom” (married 6 years but alone, and children, with her parents). 1910 Census: Frank L. J. Edward7 Valentine, born 03 September 1898(40);  married 1916-17 to Della ______ who was born about 1891 in Kansas. He was a machinist. She had six children, one of whom died before the 1910 census. Known children, born in Montana:  Alberta Cronkrite, born about 1897, [not with parents in 1900];  Lotta A. Cronkrite, born about July 1898, [not with mother in 1910];  Verna Grace Cronkrite, born about November 1899 [although California State Death Index says 08 November 1901(36)], died 02 November 1986 in San Bernardino County, California(36), married first to ______ Gates and later divorced, married second or later to ______ Sapp(36), she was a waitress, 1920 Census: Verna Gates (divorced, and child, with mother), 1930 Census: Verna G. Goldie Freida7 Hogaboom, born 17 January 1890(14);  died 11 April 1943(14) in Custer County;  married 22 January 1908 in Custer County to Franklin Levi Neth (son of Sebastian Neth and Alice Jane Huffman) who was born 16 July 1886(14)(17) in Broken Bow(40) and died 13 September 1967(14) at Sargent, Custer, Nebraska(17). He was a farmer. 1920 Census: Frank L. Neth, page 070, visit 243/245, Broken Bow Township, Custer, Nebraska. 1930 Census: Frank L. Neth, page 238, visit 008/009, Triumph, Custer, Nebraska. They are buried at Custer Center Cemetery [also infant children of G. L. and F. L. Neth; no names or dates listed]. No children with them in 1920 or 1930.

Hettie F.7 Hogaboom, born 10 April 1896(14)(17);  died 15 November 1969(14) at Broken Bow(17);  unmarried. 1930 Census: (single, with father). She is buried with her parents.

Lester Wesley Hogaboom, born 02 November 1898(14)(17)(40);  died 31 October 1969(14) at Broken Bow(17);  married 03 November 1930(14) in Logan County, Nebraska to Flora Pearl Perkins (daughter of William Ulysses Perkins and Grace Rapp) who was born 26 June 1906(14)(17) in Custer County and died 10 November 1988(14) at Broken Bow(17). They are buried at Custer Center Cemetery.

Abraham Lincoln6 Hogaboom, born about October 1865 in Michigan;  married 1894-95 to Mary J. Hillman (from son James’ death record) who was born about July 1873 in Indiana and apparently died before the 1930 census. 1900 Census: Abraham L. Hogoboom, page 081, visit 065/067, Custer, Custer, Nebraska. 1930 Census: Abraha L. Hogaboom (widower), page 111, visit 024/054, Omaha (E.D. 32), Douglas, Nebraska. They had four children. James Bird7 Hogaboom, born 22 October 1901(36);  died 17 June 1951 in Riverside County, California(36). He registered for the WWI Draft at Kemmerer, Lincoln, Wyoming [residence: Cokeville, Lincoln, Wyoming; nearest relative: Abraham Lincoln Hogaboom of Cokeville] and gave his date of birth as 22 October 1899(40)[NOTE: however, according to the 1900 census, he hadn’t been born yet then]. 1920 Census: James Bird Hogaboom (“school”, at Wyoming Industrial Institute [a reform school for boys] ), page 256, line 83, Election District 6, Washakie, Wyoming. 1930 Census: (single, with father).

Rosella G.6 Hogaboom, born about April 1870 in Iowa;  died 19 October 1918 in Charles Mix County, South Dakota (Death Certificate #060293);  married 1886-87 to Joseph Henry Pellar (son of John and Mary Ann Pellar, both born in England) who was born about October 1861 in Wisconsin.
