David4 Arner (Heinrich3, HEINRICH2, Ulrich1), born 25 September 1802 in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania and christened 03 October 1802 (Sponsors: Peter Schneider and Maria)(13);  died 09 March 1877 aged 74 years, 06 months, 17 days(14) or aged 74 years, 04 months, 09 days (Mahoning Death Records, Book 1, page 125) [NOTE: both of which have his age wrong (assuming I read them correctly), but they agree on the date of death] in Springfield, Mahoning, Ohio;  married to Catharina Hisey who was born 30 October 1801 in Shenandoah County, Virginia and died 07 June 1885 aged 83 years, 07 months, 08 days(14) in Springfield. [NOTE: Hisey family information, although not an actual genealogy, is on Steve Kirkham’s website.]

He was a farmer. He was a taxpayer in Youngstown, Trumbull (now Mahoning), Ohio by 1826.

Civil War service: Corporal in Company C, 24th Ohio Infantry Regiment and Batteries H and M, 4th U.S. Artillery, and Second Sergeant in Company K, 197th Ohio Infantry Regiment.
