Dibble (daughter of James Dibble and Dolly Ferguson) who was born 13 August 1812(14) in Colchester, Delaware, New York and died 26 September 1864(14) in Kingston; married second 06 August 1865 in DeKalb County (Book C, page 026) to Hannah Snyder who was born about 1818 in Virginia; married third 23 August 1874 in DeKalb County (Book E, page 001) to Ellen (Carter) Burkhardt (daughter of Jared Carter and Lydia Ames, and widow of John H. Burkhardt) who was born 16 November 1827 at Benson, Rutland, Vermont; later divorced.
He was a shoemaker. He bought government land in Sturgis, St. Joseph, Michigan on 10 September 1838 (patent1)(patent2) and on 01 May 1839 (the patent). They moved to Kingston about 1839. He bought government land in DeKalb County, Illinois on 01 July 1845 (the patent) and on 26 September 1859 (the patent).
