John Billick4 Aurner (HEINRICH3, HEINRICH2, Ulrich1), born about January 1818 in Muncy Creek, Lycoming, Pennsylvania;  died 07 March 1906 at DeKalb, DeKalb, Illinois (Death Certificate #1097);  married 01 February 1849(R) to Adaline Jarrod who was born 17 March 1828 in Tioga County, New York.

He was a carpenter. On 01 May 1839, he bought government land in Sturgis, St. Joseph, Michigan (the patent). He bought government land in DeKalb County, Illinois on 10 March 1843 (patent 1)(patent 2), 01 March 1846 (the patent), and 10 April 1848 (the patent).

Langhlin who was born about 1854 in Illinois and apparently died 1920s in California. He was a physician; he graduated from Rush Medical College in Chicago in 1870. Hafner, produced from a card file held by the American Medical Association.] Hattie is buried at Woodlawn (aka Brodies Grove) Cemetery in Dement.

[From Hanover [Kansas] Centennial, 1869-1969: “By the late 1890’s, we find that Hanover was by no means devoid of cultural amusements. The Hanover Dramatic Club was organized and frequently enacted plays at Turner Hall. At one time Mrs. M. A. Aurner was manager.”]

He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1882. He was a cashier at his father’s bank (1900 census); later he was a bank president (1910 census); later he owned an orchard in California. [From Hanover [Kansas] Centennial, 1869-1969: “Don Carlos Taft, president of the Bank of Hanover, was the father of the famous sculptor, Lorado Taft, and of a daughter, Zulime Taft, who became the wife of the novelist, Hamlin Garland. Myrtle burnette6 Aurner, born possibly 26 August 1876(R)(but California State Death Index says 26 March 1878(36));  died 22 April 1949 in Contra Costa County, California(36);  married first 1893-94 in Washington County, Kansas to Max Allen Bangs (son of George Allen Bangs and Hattie McElhiney) who was born 08 October 1873 in Illinois;  married second 1910s in California to Charles Henry Johnston (apparently his second marriage) who was born 13 April 1881(40) in California. She graduated from Hanover High School at Hanover, Washington, Kansas in 1893 (reference, external link). Max was a farmer; later a clerk for a railroad. Keeler (his second marriage) who was born about March 1858 in New York.
