LaRue) who was born 06 October 1852 at Crowland, Welland, Ontario, Canada and died 24 November 1934 at Flint (Book D10, page 291). [NOTE: Orphans Court papers for Samuel filed April 1864 in Mercer County, Pennsylvania; John Arner, guardian. Not checked yet.] Civil War service: Company F, 199th Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment. He received an invalid pension. Edmondson and Maria Anna Cushing) who was born 05 April 1879(40) in Bear Lake [NOTE: marriage info from a GEDCOM on the Internet; no confirmation found yet]. He registered for the WWI Draft in Spokane County, Washington [nearest relative: Maria Edmondson of Cleon, Manistee, Michigan (presumably his mother)]. Probably 1920 Census: Harry J. Edmondson (“single”, with Claude Lewin), page 161, visit 018/103, Seattle (E.D. 222), King, Washington. [NOTES: There are only three possible Harry Edmondson’s in the 1930 census, all in Oregon and all “single”; possibly all the same person. In 1880, his family was enumerated only 23 households away from the Arner family.]

Frances Ethel6 Arner, born about June 1888;  married 1916-17 to Edward Abraham Laisy (son of Jacob and Catherine Laisy) who was born 15 February 1879(40) in Brown, Manistee, Michigan and apparently died before the 1930 census. He was a farmer. She was a schoolteacher. He registered for the WWI Draft in Manistee County. 1930 Census: Ethel A. Lacey (widow), page 066, visit 140/145, Flint (5th Ward), Genesee, Michigan. Known child:  Edward Arner Laisy, born 14 May 1927(17), died 16 August 1992 at Fenton, Genesee, Michigan(17)(also Book D309, page 499).

Henry Harrison6 Arner, born 18 July 1890(40) or 04 August 1890(17);  died November 1973 at Tempe, Maricopa, Arizona(17). He registered for the WWI Draft in Manistee County.

Grace Evelyn6 Arner, born about October 1893;  married 1916-17 to Charles Allen Widgren (son of John and Margaret Widgren, both born in Sweden) who was born 11 May 1886(40) in Manistee County. He was a machinist. He registered for the WWI Draft at Flint, Genesee, Michigan. 1920 Census: Carl A. Widgren, page 091, visit 094/115, Flint (5th Ward), Genesee, Michigan. 1930 Census: Charles A. Widgren (with her sister Ethel, above). No children with them in 1930.

William5 Arner, born about 1847. Civil War service: Company B, 61st Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment. He was killed in his first engagement, at the age of 17(M).

John Milton5 Arner, born about May 1849;  married 1875-77 to Mary E. Steele (daughter of Ira? and Amanda Steele) who was born “14 October 1851” in New York and died “11 September 1920 aged 69 years, 10 months, 27 days” in Hart, Oceana, Michigan (Death Certificate #095). [NOTE: Orphans Court papers for John filed April 1862 in Mercer County, Pennsylvania; John Arner, guardian. Not checked yet.] 1900 Census: John M.
