Peter4 Arner (probably Johann3, HEINRICH2, Ulrich1), born about 1815 in Ohio;  died after June 1895 probably in Wonewoc, Juneau, Wisconsin;  married first 06 March 1838 in Portage County, Ohio (FHL film #891357) to Roxana Downing who was born about 1823 in New York and died 1860s in Juneau County;  married second 1865-70 in Juneau County, Wisconsin to Marian F. (_______) Baker (widow of Robert H. Baker) who was born about 1833 in New York or Ohio and apparently died after June 1895.

He was a carpenter and joiner.

[Marian received a widow’s pension, based on the Civil War service of her first husband (Certificate #105991), application #102353 filed 17 July 1865.]

Leon A.7 Arner, born 17 November 1893(40);  died 14 September 1930;  married about 1929 to Mabel ______ (her second marriage) who was born about 1896 in Wisconsin. He was a trainman for the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad. He owned a restaurant; later he owned a music store. Cahoon and Ella Jane Davis) who was born 20 November 1894(17)(40) at Baraboo and died 11 November 1979 at Wisconsin Dells, Columbia, Wisconsin(17). He was a WWI veteran; he registered for the Draft at Baraboo. 1930 Census: Wilber D. Cahoon (with her parents). Known children:  Necia Jean Cahoon, born 26 December 1920(17), died 23 December 1993 at Wisconsin Dells(17), married by 1943 to Eugene Blood;  Claude Leroy Cahoon, born 14 August 1922(17), died 28 May 1987 at Lake Delton, Sauk, Wisconsin(17), married December 1942 at Baraboo to Ivol May Richards who was born 10 March 1925(17) and died 24 July 2002 at Baraboo(17);  Marlene Cahoon, married William Kent;  Karen Ann Cahoon, married Richard Tremain.

Sabrina5 Arner, born about 1842.

Robert A.5 Arner, born about 1846;  died 22 October 1864 at David’s Island, New York. Civil War service: Company G, 37th Wisconsin Infantry Regiment. He died on duty from disease. He is buried at Cypress Hill Cemetery on Long Island, New York.

Melissa5 Arner, born about 1848.

Minerva A.5 Arner, born about December 1854;  married 09 April 1877 in Juneau County (Book 1, page 288(22)) to Alva J. Kilson (his second marriage)(son of John and Marinda Kilson/Killsen?) who was born about August 1853 in Michigan. He was a blacksmith. 1870 Census: Minerva Armer, page 125, visit 040/039, Plymouth, Juneau, Wisconsin. 1880 Census: A. J. Kilson, page 523, visit 177/022, Wonewoc, Juneau, Wisconsin. 1900 Census: A. J. Kilson, page 098, visit 393/402, Harvard (3rd Ward), McHenry, Illinois. [He was married first 03 July 1872 in Juneau County (Book 1, page 190) to Olive E. Eaton.] Her possible child:  Emma Arner, born about 1873, shown as “stepdaughter” in 1880 census. Their known children:  Maude Kilson, born about December 1878 in Wisconsin;  Bayford Alva Killson, born 23 May 1889(36) at Harvard, Illinois(40), died 27 May 1953 in Los Angeles County, California(36), married to Winifred ______ who was born about 1896 in Illinois, he was an insurance agent for Continental Casualty Company(40), he registered for the WWI Draft at Houston, Harris, Texas.
