History of Ben Salem Union Church.

The first church in what is now Carbon County.

Congregation organized before 1790.

First church, of logs, erected 1794-97.

Second church building erected 1855.

Current church building erected 2003.

First Arner members:

William³ and Magdalena (Krumm) Arner.

[possibly founding members; but certainly very early.]

Franz and Elisabeth⁴ (Hunsicker) Krumm [by 1805].

[Conrad Solt was also an early member.]
