NOTE: This marriage record is the only record of this family that I have found so far. It may be a mis-transcription of a different surname.
Jacob “Arnert” “of Heidelberg”, born perhaps 1725-30; married 12 December 1752 probably in Northampton (now Lehigh) County, Pennsylvania to Catharina Knever (daughter of Heinrich Knever (or Kunver) of Macungie, Northampton (now Lehigh), Pennsylvania) by Pastor Johann Jacob Wisler(8)(2).
[NOTES: Their marriage was also recorded at Saddler’s (St. John’s) Reformed Church(37) at Stewartstown, York, Pennsylvania, which is very close to the Pennsylvania-Maryland state border. The christenings of Ulrich2 Arner’s son Johannes (1760) and of two of Jacob3 Arner’s children (1788 and 1790) were also recorded at both Egypt Church and Saddler’s Church.]
[Her father might be the Johann Henrich Kunver who was born 1694 in Zweibrucken, Germany, married 01 January 1724/5 in Zweibrucken to Maria Catharina Clott, came to America in 1748 and settled in Northampton (now Lehigh) County.]
