NOTE: This may well be a completely unrelated family; their personal names do not appear to fit into the naming pattern of the Anner/Arner family of Windlach.
Joseph “Arner”, born probably 1702; died (or was buried) 22 December 1771 aged 69 years(39) in Macungie, Northampton (now Lehigh), Pennsylvania.
Probably the Joseph Ahner who arrived at Philadelphia on the ship Duke of Wertemberg and took the Oath on 16 October 1751.
Probably the Joseph Anner, married to Regina _______ (from daughter Rosina’s christening record)[although this Joseph could also be a son, in which case Rosina would be a grand-daughter instead].
Possible child:
Anna Rosina Anner/Arner, born 25 March 1759 (recorded at Jerusalem Lutheran and Reformed Church in Salisbury, Northampton (now Lehigh), Pennsylvania) and christened 08 April 1759 (Sponsors: Martin Ginginger and Rosina)(4); married to Johannes Henrich. Known child: Georg Henrich, born probably circa 1800-1805 in Whitehall, Northampton (now Lehigh), Pennsylvania (from a Fraktur mentioned in Volume IV, page 150, The Printed Birth and Baptismal Certificates of the German-Americans, Klaus Stopp, privately published, Mainz, Germany and East Berlin, Pennsylvania, 1998). [NOTE: Rosina’s surname was shown as Anner at her own christening (according to the available transcript), but was shown as Arner on her son’s Fraktur (or at least was read as Arner by Klaus Stopp).]
