Noah Harvey⁵ Arner (John W.⁴, probably Leonard³, HEINRICH², Ulrich¹), born 20 April 1849₍₁₄₎ probably in Hempstead (now Nevada) County, Arkansas; died 15 February 1899₍₁₄₎ in Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory (now Blackburn, Jefferson, Oklahoma); married 1871 in Searcy County, Arkansas to Mary Elizabeth Faught (daughter of Joseph W. and America P. Faught) who was born 19 June 1852₍₁₄₎ in Giles County, Tennessee and died 10 February 1919₍₁₄₎ at Ryan, Jefferson, Oklahoma (funeral notice).

He was a farmer. On 15 December 1882, he bought government land in St. Joe, Searcy, Arkansas (the patent).

[NOTES: In the Special Inquiries section of the 1900 census, they are both listed as being partially of Choctaw descent. They are also found on the rolls of the Dawes Commission, based on Orlando claiming 1/16^th Choctaw blood, info recorded as of 1902 (Dawes Enrollment Card #MCR5775). However, the “MCR” in the card number stands for “Mississippi Choctaw Rejected”, so apparently he wasn’t able to prove it at that time.]

He was a school teacher, later a farmer. He was a WWI veteran; he registered for the Draft in Jefferson County. 1920 Census: John G. Nancy Anne⁶ Arner, born about 1877; apparently died before the 1900 census; married 07 July 1895 at Ryan (Chickasaw Nation Marriage Book A, page 126, see NOTE 1, below) to Edward F. Blanchard (son of Henry and Clarice J. Blanchard) who was born about December 1871₍₁₄₎ in Mississippi and died 1939₍₁₄₎. He was a farmer. 1900 Census: Edward F. John Wesley⁶ Arner, born 29 December 1879₍₄₀₎; died 10 June 1937 (obituary) at Waurika, Jefferson, Oklahoma; married first 01 December 1901 at Ryan (Chickasaw Nation Marriage Book F, page 116, see NOTE 1, below) to Lola Olive Thompson (daughter of John Ross Thompson and Narcissa Jane Dodson) who was born about June 1882 in Boone County, Arkansas and died 11 January 1919 at Ryan (obituary); married second 07 June 1919 at Ryan to Mosie Bond, later divorced. He was a carpenter. He registered for the WWI Draft at Waurika, Jefferson, Oklahoma. Alfred Leon⁷ Arner, born 18 September 1910 (although SSDI says 1914₍₁₇₎); died 03 October 1975₍₁₇₎ at Waurika; married 1930s to Lucille susan Hundley. They moved to Ward County, Texas; later to Midland County, Texas.

Thomas Earl⁷ Arner, born 18 April 1913; died 23 January 1991 at Ryan.

Franklin Thompson⁷ Arner, born 30 March 1917₍₁₇₎; died 15 December 1987 at Big Spring, Howard, Texas₍₁₇₎; married to Clara Sue Vastine (daughter of Thomas B. Vastine and Annie May Covey) who was born 05 December 1922₍₁₇₎ in Texas and died 19 June 2002 at Big Spring₍₁₇₎. He was a WWII veteran (Army SN: 38691400).
