Martha F.⁵ Arner (John W.⁴, probably Leonard³, HEINRICH², Ulrich¹), born about 1854 in Arkansas; married about 1876 in Searcy County, Arkansas to John William Champion McEntire who was born about 1853 in Marion County, Arkansas and apparently died before the 1910 census.

[He was the son of (Honorable) John Alfred McEntire (son of John Alexander McEntire and Elizabeth Wylie) who was born 28 February 1818 in Rutherford County, North Carolina; died 04 November 1893 in St. Joe, Searcy, Arkansas; married first 26 December 1839 in Buncombe County, North Carolina to Zarah Jane Gates (daughter of Silas Gates and Mary Fore) who was born 20 April 1812 in Buncombe County and died 07 May 1890 in St. Joe. They moved from North Carolina to Gilmer County, Georgia in the mid-1840s; then about 1851-52 to Marion County, Arkansas; then by 1860 to Tomahawk, Searcy, Arkansas. John Alfred McEntire served as a Judge in Searcy County in the 1880s.]

John W. C. McEntire homesteaded government land in Searcy County and received a patent 15 December 1882 (the patent).

Ceaburn [Sceborn]⁷ “Pete” Groves, born 03 March 1917₍₁₇₎; died 23 May 1985 at Uvalde₍₁₇₎; married 07 March 1939 at Uvalde to Julia Elizabeth Harmon (daughter of Charles William Harmon and Della Isabel Young) who was born 08 March 1923₍₁₇₎ in Alpine, Brewster, Texas and died 28 May 2005 at Uvalde₍₁₇₎. He was a carpenter; he was a WWII veteran (U.S. Army SN: 38559364). She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse. [She was married second November 1990 at Uvalde to Horace Fowler. NOTE: however, she is listed in the SSDI as “Julia Groves”.] She is buried at Hillcrest Cemetery at Uvalde (Venetian Garden Section, Block C, lot 7).

Mary A.⁶ McEntire, born about 1878; married 1904-05 to George Washington Montgomery who was born 21 September 1880₍₄₀₎ in Oklahoma. He was an electrician at Dodge Brothers Motor Car Company₍₄₀₎.
