Samuel Erner, born [about 1890?] in New York; died about 1918-19 at New York City; married about 1911 to Charlotte H. C. Dieckmann (daughter of Carl A. and Anna C. Dieckmann, both born in Germany) who was born about October 1893 at Brooklyn, Kings, New York.

Samuel was a tinsmith; they lived at 543 East 13th Street in New York City (from NYC City Directories). After Samuel died, Charlotte and the children went to live with her mother at Brooklyn. She worked as a packer in a dyeing plant.

Ralph Daniel Erner [son of James Erner and ________?, both parents born in Pennsylvania (from 1930 census)], born 22 March 1869(1) at Painesville, [Lake County,] Ohio (from death certificate) or possibly in Cuyahoga County near Painesville (from Social Security application); died 02 August 1966 at Albany, Linn, Oregon(1)(also Death Certificate #66-11834); married in Canada to Emma Edith Markley (daughter of Frederick William Markley and Emma Edith Wright) who was born 28 January 1895(1) at (or near) Solihull, Warwickshire, England and died 08 October 1981 at Molalla, Clackamas, Oregon(1)(also Death Certificate #81-16439). He was a farmer; later an electrician in the construction industry. They lived at 1908 South Ferry in Albany.

They are buried at Twin Oaks Cemetery at Albany.

Harold Daniel Erner, born 28 May 1918 in Canada; died 11 November 1919 in Canada.
Emma Edith Erner, born about 1921 in Canada; married to Eugene Leander Fields (son of Perry Leander Fields and Georgia Eugene McCumber) who was born 14 September 1914(1) at Gage, Ellis, Oklahoma and died 01 May 2002 at Muldrow, Sequoyah, Oklahoma(1).
