Alfred F. Orner, born about February 1875 in Sweden. He arrived at Ellis Island, New York on 16 April 1896 aboard the ship Teutonic from Liverpool, England [residence listed as Or, Sweden]. 1900 Census: Alford Orner, page 292, visit 250/278, Butte (8th Ward), Silver Bow, Montana. In 1900, he was working as a photographer. In 1902, he was working as a stenographer at Dusseau & Thompson, and rooming at 507 Dakota (1902 Butte City Directory, published by R. L. Polk & Company).
Isaac (Icze) Orner [brother of a Harry Orner of New York City], born about 1888 at Brzostek, Galicia, Poland; died 21 February 1948 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga, Ohio (Cleveland Necrology File, at Cleveland Public Library); married to Gertrude (Gitta) Turner (daughter of Oser Turner and Frances Zeller) who was born about December 1888 in Mielec, Galicia, Austria and died 04 January 1959 in Los Angeles County, California(8)(also Cleveland Necrology File). [A history of Pilzno (external link), the county seat over Brzostek.] He arrived at Ellis Island, New York on 02 July 1907 aboard the ship Statendam that sailed from Rotterdam. The rest of the family arrived at Ellis Island on 05 October 1910 aboard the ship Pretoria that sailed from Hamburg. 1910 Census: Isadore Orner, page 006, visit 049/113, Cleveland (15th Ward), Cuyahoga, Ohio. Known children, first four born in Austria: Rechta Orner, born about 1899; Friemit Orner, born about 1901; Arthur (Oser) Turner Orner, born 15 August 1904(7), died 25 July 1977 at Cleveland(7), married 01 September 1930 at Cleveland (Book 172, page 360) to Rose R. Rosenberg (daughter of (Rabbi) Phillip Rosenberg and Ernestine Wilhelm) who was born 12 September 1907(7) (or 1909(8)) and died 29 June 1984 at San Diego, San Diego, California(7)(8), he was a psychologist; Harry (Hermann) Orner, born 24 September 1906(7), died January 1979 at Altadena, Los Angeles, California(7), married in Cuyahoga County (Book 186, page 366) to Ida Rogozen (daughter of Barnett Rogozen and Esther Gerson) who was born 07(7) (or 08(8)) October 1912 in Ohio and died 19 July 1987 at Altadena(7)(8); Anna T. Orner, born about 1911, married 03 March 1930 at Cleveland (Book 171, page 097) to Morris F. Weinstock (son of Peter Weinstock and Jennie Stauer) who was born 10(8) (or 19(7)) June 1910 in Poland and died 18 October 1969(7) in Los Angeles County(8), he was a clerk; Frances Orner, born 1913, died 1914.

married 1916-17 to Mary Richardson [or ?Gray (“Mary Gray Orner, wife” on draft registration(9))]
who was born about 1880 in Kentucky, divorced 1935 in Duval County. He was a
violin instructor; later a music director. He registered for the WWI Draft at
Jacksonville, Duval, Florida. 1930 Census: George Orner, page 267, visit
282/431, Jacksonville (E.D. 27), Duval, Florida. No children with them in 1930.
